Both our CTC 94 Reducer and CTC 316 Reducer are what we consider to be soft surface trims: the 316 Reducer is a metal transition with a lip that reduces from 3/16” carpet to 0”, while the 94 Reducer reduces from 1/8” vinyl down to 0”. These anodized aluminum reducers are best suited for soft surface applications in commercial construction; they offer a far more durable solution than rubber and are both ADA compliant. Our CTC Reducers can be both mechanically fastened into or glued on concrete with a construction adhesive, and both can be used with existing flooring or new construction.
